Cette reconnaissance plaça immédiatement Louis Barthélémy dans le club très fermé des meilleures maisons de Champagne.

Louis Barthélémy Brut Saphir 1998 Wine Enthusiast -92 pt Just approaching toasty maturity, this is a rich and full wine, its white fruits and perfumes floating above yeast, cookie and pine nut flavors. It has a great mouthfeel, a tin-gling character, acidity and richness in harmony.

This rich wine has the power and intensity that are the hallmarks of excellent 2002 vintage. A rich, creamy style, with plenty of flesh surronding peach, apricot, butter, coffee and spice flavors. Powerful and intense.

Louis Barthélémy Brut Améthyste Wine Front - 92 pts Slighty cidery flavours along with a touch of smoky sulphid, spice and lemon biscuit complexity. It's dry and crisp - an elegant aperitif style if there ever was one - with beautiful clean acidit and particularly fine bubbles. A delightful wine to drink, and one that's not propped up and propelled by dosage either. Really enjoyed it. Very refreshing.

Guide Gilbert & Gaillard 2010 Louis Barthélémy Brut Améthyste, 84/100 Robe or clair. Nez fruité (pomme, brioche). Bouche puissante, à la texture crémeuse, bon équilibre général. Un champagne à déguster à l'apéritif ou pourquoi pas à table sur des crustacés ou des ris de veau.

Louis Barthélémy est noté deuxième sur 10 par le célèbre dégustateur Tom Stevenson dans sa liste des petites maisons qui montent.
